I used to connect to Checkpoint SSL VPN to access my client's network where all the sites except outlook work perfectly. Not sure of the cause & the place of the problem as it works without vpn. Without vpn my local ip is in 192.168.x.x & after connecting vpn it changes to 172.16.x.x series ip provided the public ip to be the same.

So, I "dumped" it and got a lifetime subscription to Windscribe. Same thing happened with Windscribe too, so it's obviously a failing with Outlook, but so far, I haven't seen a solution to the problem itself. When Outlook 365 is trying to connect to an Office 365 email account via SSLVPN, I still have to modify the "TAP-Windows Adapter V9" network connection to add the SSLVPN gateway IP to it. My LAN default gateway is my T35's IP of 192.168.16.1, and my SSLVPN is using 192.168.35.1 as its gateway.
Note that direct access to email over an unsecure connection will no longer be available for remote users after October 3, 2017. You will need to logon first to the VPN with VIP 2-factor authentication before you can access email remotely.
